There are a number of Funeral Industry Associations that form a watchdog in the industry. Membership to these associations is by invitation only and is usually a sign of a trusted and well-equipped Funeral Home that must comply with the association standards. Regular accreditation by the association’s executive accreditation team is undertaken to ensure these standards are maintained and respected.

As members of these associations we are required by constitution to comply with a strict code of ethics and conduct, provide a high standard of facilities, equipment, service and training, as well as having to comply with ongoing professional development of our staff.
One should never take for granted that all Funeral Homes are members of these peak body associations or meet these professional standards.
